The conversion of Piaggio Ape into mobile bars for serving Prosecco wine is becoming increasingly popular. That is why we have a lot of work to do for our customers. We present another realization of a complete renovation of a Piaggio scooter and its adaptation to the role of a mobile bar serving sparkling wines. The scope of work that we have carried out in this case included: a comprehensive repair of the tinsmithing and coating, creating a rear packet superstructure, the construction of the bar, equipment for pouring wine. The basis for the creation of the project was a scooter Piaggio Ape 50, produced in the 80s. This model is characterized by small dimensions, so it is very handy, you can drive it almost anywhere. Piaggio tinsmith presented itself poorly, in its history it has already undergone several paint repairs, which I think were carried out in the shed, and it looked as if it had been painted with a paintbrush. Due to a very demanding color that was chosen by the customer – white pearl – we had a lot of work on the tinsmith of this scooter. We had to make the body perfect to make the pearl colour look beautiful in full sun on the body of the prosecco van. We built the rear package on the basis of the original sidewalls, with openable sidewalls on 2 sides. The wall and countertop of the bar was made of sheet metal, which we then gave the ‘rust effect’. The combination of white pearl color with industrial, rusty sheet metal contrasts nicely with each other and creates an interesting design. The project has a standard one-sided construction.We have chosen the interior upholstery in a colour scheme that matches the body. Below we present the final effect of our work and individual stages of the project.
